Do you ever feel confused about issues with landscape and trees?
Does it ever seem like all you are doing is spraying without ever really knowing why or to what end?
Insects, diseases, weather impacts, people impacts, all the different species and varieties of trees and shrubs...there is an awful lot to keep up with!
Since 1986 my goal has always been to keep my customers informed and involved. I listen to you and determine what level of care fits your budget. I try to match that with the needs of your plants and landscape.
Maine is a unique and fragile environment. There is water everywhere you look! There are also many environmentally conscious people with concerns about spraying and its effects. I limit insect and disease control to what is absolutely needed. I utilize low-impact control measures whenever possible.
I am a Board-Certified Master Arborist (ISA), and a Registered Consulting Arborist (ASCA). The only such certified arborist in the State of Maine. These are both currently the highest certifications available in Arboriculture. I am also a qualified Tree Risk Assessor (TRAQ). My background is in forestry from Penn State. I have been involved in Arboriculture for over 28 years in the states of Maryland, Colorado, and now Maine.
I look forward to working with you!
